When I discovered Warmoth my brain exploded with joy because of the wood choices, body shapes, neck profiles, pickup routs, and other choices that were available to me. Recently, however, I am finding that even Warmoth may not be enough to satisfy my cravings for tv yellow or metallic ocean turquoise, or a 335 or a usa pickguard compatible jazzmaster bod or non-reverse firebird. What other companies do you know of that make great bodies and/or necks for your projects. I already know about kne guitars, usacg, and soulmate.

AllParts, WD Music and Stew Mac all carry some very basic bodies and necks, but a lot of hardware!

Those guys may be a little cheaper at some things, but don't do any custom work, so you're left with what they think you want, and Warmoth does they do better, IMO.  USACG, KNE, and a few others offer a few more styles and maybe not more options than W, just different ones.  FWIW, USACG stills offers an EVH shape when Warmoth was hit with a cease and desist order.  Go figure.

also FWIW, the USACG necks are not licensed by Fender, so the headstock shapes are a bit weird...
Warmoth has by far the most options and the best/most woods in stock.. Musikraft also has a bunch of exotic woods.. Edenhaus/Heffner is also licensed by fender, but I hear nothing but bad stories about that company..

I know I probably won't find another place that has AS MANY options as Warmoth, I'm just looking for places that can do even a few things that Warmoth doesn't do.

I've heard that Carvin is about the best if you desire neck-thrus.

Carvin makes some amazing instruments, & add in the low price & they really can't be beat for an off the shelf type guitar.

I am a few weeks away from ordering a CS-6 Les Paul from them. It'll be less than 1/2 the price of a Gibson & 10x the quality.
