We live in the mountains in Southern California and the edge of our property is the San Bernardino National forest. Hence we get a lot of wildlife. I built these 3 enclosed planters a few years ago for the wife as she grows year round. Each one has its own dedicated timer/sprinkler system.

And she starts a lot of the seedlings in her she shed. The yellow part is 25x8 and has heat, A/C and running water. Outside that room is the dark colored room which is a screen room to move the plants from the start phase to the get used to the temperature phase, then into the planters.

I think hemp county is Humboldt county in Northern CA. Not that I would know anything about that.

Man, those are really coming along ! I wish I could do some vegetable gardening, but not enough sun on our property with all the huge trees. I'm relegated to shade gardening......

Thanks. The base of the planters is made from old trex planks that I saved when we rebuilt our deck in 2022.

I used to cut the grass, actually I am again. New house only grass at the moment, planning a shed, Acer and cherry tree and various border plants.
