What should I do with these tuners?

I got some fancy tuners for my strat style guitar, 6 left

But alas their too big for a strat head, I thought they'd look nice, what with the art deco style, which they do, but...

not the best pictures but:

So what can I put them on? that'll fit? Or should I just give up and slap them on eBay or something?

I love those tuners but am used to seeing them on Gibson super-jumbos and archtops. They would definitely be mighty strange looking on a Strat.

I suppose you could look for a nice tunerless Gibson J-200 or L-5  *or* just sell 'em.

Or build a Mooncaster around them! Not sure if they'd fit any better on a different 6-on-a-side headstock, but it would sure be cool...

I don't think they'd fit on a Mooncaster headstock either, they're just as tight as the strat, as least as far as I know?

Might fit on one of those droopy headstocks.

I've just noticed that the pegs themselves unscrew, this opens up more options, maybe I could get some locking tuners, put these fancy knobs on, and shove them onto a Arrow Headstock on a Star shaped body in metallic Charcoal Frost in satin with gold hardware.

Not that I've been over thinking this of course.

I think I haz decided.

I'm not building anymore guitars, but after the Burgundy Mist F*nder XII style split jazzmaster guitar I'm not building, I'll not be building a Star shaped guitar, with a Nomad neck, without holes drilled for tuners, and I'll do them myself in a 4- 2 configuration, the bottom two will be reverse wind, but I can live with that.

Single bridge mounted gold Lace alumatone pickup, ebony fretboard, gold star inlays gold Evo fretwire single volume control with a push pull to coil tap the Alumatone, and of course, all over gold flake finish.

Yes, I certinly don't intend building that sort of thing.  :headbanging:

I've only ever seen them as 3x3, never an inline 6.

You may just have two half's of two sets of tuners.
Yeah, they look to be copies of the Grover Super Rotomatics, which will only fit a 3x3 headstock.
