Weird Fender Locking Saddles

Anyone ever seen a really unusual looking Fender bridge with locking saddles that are blocks of stainless? I have pix.... but I can't post them here.

I think you are talking about the strat plus bridges of olde'.  The non-fine tuner floyd bridges are the next best thing.

I take it you mean one of these? Screwy little ba$t@rds, have to make intonation adjustments from under the back cover....  :icon_scratch:

Those are indeed the very critters.... Thanks for the links. I've never laid my hands on one of these, so it will be a new experience. Fender must not have made these for very long.
 
Turns out they are not height adjustable saddles... and the D string saddle is lower than the rest. Makes setting the action no fun.
