Great video, mully!
Those are such beautiful guitars!

We'll have to buy you a light bulb for christmas though... The light conditions was fairly bad :(

Yeah, the light in here is pure crap. I should have shot that during the day with the curtains open.

Sorry, I don't get what you mean by the "super distortion" comment. Someone else said something about that too. I just watched the video again and I honestly have no idea.

it's called "Super Distortion" and it's by DiMarzio

I mean what that one guy said about the name "super distortion" was hilarious. he thought it was Engrish and didn't realize it was just the name of the pickup.

Gotcha. Yeah, I didn't really understand what he meant by that. I mean it's called Super Distortion, what else did he think I should call it? hehe!!

the super distortion put him on the map, so many years ago
by todays standard it is not a super distortion, but is still a great pickup.
With out that model, we would still all be playing whatever came from the Original Manufacturer, it was the popularity of that model that opened up the after market for replacement pickups

i loved the super distortion too. a guy on another forum was asking about aftermarket pickups and i told him how much i loved the Super Distortion. he thought i was hilarious calling it the "Super" Distortion, he thought i was talking about the Seymour Duncan Distortion pickup.

anyway great video! that white strat is still one of my favorite warmoths around.

I noticed some buzz in the beginning

Your white strat is (still) awesome!  :headbang:

Nice vid mully!

I just started getting into video in July.

Here's a cheap DIY lighting kit for video.

2 or 3 of these:

Load them with CFL (compact florescent)  Bulbs  5000K or 6500K High kelvin temp. will get rid of the yellow cast typical of household lighting.
Look for the term "daylight" on the pack if they're not listing the kelvin temperature. I've been getting mine at HomeDepot and Lowes and WalMart.
Average $6.00 USD for a 100W equiv.

Some of this for diffusion: http://www.amazon.com/Regency-Wraps-RW230-Parchment-Baking/dp/B000I1X4UY
Probably available in the baking section of your local grocery store. I got my roll at Giant Eagle.

... and some "ammo" to clamp the diffusion to the rim of the lamp.
