Here's a crappy first picture of my Warmoth that arrived this week:

Basically it's a mahogony Star body with a slightly flamed maple neck with LP specs (59 neck, 6130 frets, 12" radius, 24.75 scale) which'll get set up up with a SD Blackout set and a TOM.

More pictures when it's finished in around 2-3 weeks :icon_jokercolor:

badass! congrats!

I'm building a star too. KNE body though, not warmoth. Should be getting my warmoth neck in today though!

mine is also gonna be 12" radius, 24.75" scale, and a TOM (string through body), but I've got 6150 frets, and a standard thin back profile on my neck. Maple back, pau ferro fretboard.

Pretty cool, KNE make some badass stuff. Mitch made 2 custom bodies for me, his guitars are super acurate. Warmoth necks fit snug as they should. These are the 2 he made for me, not to hijack the thread...

Mmmmm, Pau Ferro is sexy as hell too.

If I ever make a superstrat, it'll be with a poplar body & maple/pau ferro neck. :toothy10:

But I prefer fixed bridges though.

Pretty cool, solid black and maple always look badass together... :party07:

I really like this combo too!

Also, I like seeing a star on the forum. I really like the shape, but am never sure if I would actually like to play one.

My Blackout set & Gator Extreme Case arrived today.

The build of this baby starts saturday... :icon_biggrin:
