Warmoth sighting

Wouldn't be surprised if RS Guitarworks didn't mention it. They make their own guitars, I think.

He does have another guitar that he does know has a warmoth neck.

I bet he does know... I remember he was one of the first 'friends' when Warmoth first had their Myspace...

I talked with Joe Perry on the phone a few times, took his order, and I hand picked the woods used for the body and neck. He definitely knows it's a Warmoth.   :icon_thumright:

That's a 25 1/2" scale Wenge neck with a '59 Roundback profile and a Walnut body.

That's cool. I'd love to have a conversation with someone of his status someday.

Could you do the same for me?  :toothy11:  I want a great AAA flame maple neck.

peace

It ends up the employee at the front of my local Guitar Center ordered a rosewood warmoth tele neck.

Alright, I'm the odd retard out of the bunch, which one is the Warmoth? I can't see anything that specifically says Warmoth on it. The only thing that stands out to me is the headstock on that clear plexiglass one. I'm guessing that's what you're talking about.

Always nice to get mentioned!  It would have been extra nice to have recieved an "atta boy" - but difficult to do when talking about so many guitars  :guitaristgif:

it is the Walnut (I think) LPS with all the studs, bullets and some leather on it... I think it has a Wenge LP neck.

The Plexiglass one is no doubt his Dan Armstrong Guitar.  I haven't seen the picture in question, but Plexiglass and Joe Perry, the Dan Armstrong comes to mind.  Other than an LP, and perhaps this Warmoth, the Dan Armstrong comes to mind when thinking of Joe Perry's guitars.

So Joe Perry personally ordered the stuff and had RS do the assembly and art on the guitar? That's the story!

Looks like it's now made the cover of the April edition of Guitar Player.  Congratulations!

I wonder if that is a first?
