Warmoth returns and refunds

Hello guys, I just got an all maple strat neck with an earvana nut and stainless steel frets. I modified a body to have a fender deluxe style heel contour and neck plate. This moves one of the neck bolts positions so that it collides directly into the side adjustment mechanism of the new neck. There is nothing wrong with the neck but it is obviously incompatible with my modified body. What are your experiences with returning products to warmoth and could you get any refunds even with stainless steel frets or whatever they call custom features?

Warmoth does make it clear that their necks are incompatible with that heel design:

I would guess that you may not be able to return it.

If the neck has been unaltered and in resellable conditon, and not much time has elapsed, maybe they would.  It is however not a warranty issue so only they can answer that.
