So I was using the allen wrench on the side of my neck yesterday to adjust the truss rod and I suddenly hear this "CLANG" sound. Like something inside snapped. It wasn't the typical "ping" sound you sometimes hear when adjusting a truss rod, it was definitely a "CLANG". Did I break something?
Naturally, I backed off the adjustment, but now it's hard to tell if the side adjustment is even working. Any thoughts? I typically have no problem with doing minor truss rod adjustments on my other guitars, but the side adjustment isn't something I'm used to, and I certainly didn't expect it to do this. :help:
