I'm not making a post about my intentions for the drawing build until I hear back from Warmoth about what I'd *like* to do.
That said, I did have some money set aside for builds this year, and since this drawing will cover a major one, I am going to finish some other projects as well.
Here's my question: I'm looking at Strat bodies that are in stock. I want to put a 12 string neck on it. If the bodies have no bridge route, they are routed out in the back for trem possibilities. If they have a hard tail bridge route (and thus string through furrel routes), they are for 6 string bridges.
1) W told me on the phone that they would not re-route for the 12 string bridge. Confirm/deny?
2) How hard would this be for me to re-route; i.e. do any of the holes line up? I have the Gotoh 12 string bridge from the W site: http://www.warmoth.com/Gotoh-Twelve-String-Bridge-Chrome-P610C707.aspx
3) Is it possible for the 12 string bridge to work with the back trem route? Looking at the bridge, I don't see why the string balls couldn't just sit against the bottom of it, but it seems sorta meh.
