"Waiting to ship"

So, I ordered a tele body and neck a while back and about a week ago I noticed that
it said "waiting to ship" on my order status at warmoth.com.
Problem is, it hasn't changed since and what I'm asking is how long it usually takes warmoth to ship the stuff?

I'm getting anxious!!!  :blob7:

Hummm I'm not sure about, perhaps you should give the men a call to see if there is something out of rotine going on :)

If it is a scratch build, it takes 10 to 12 weeks.  Until it ships, it's waiting to ship.  My guess is it's in production.  If the status were constantly being updated everyday for every order, that's more employees = more overhead = more $ for your order.

If it's a showcase item, did you have anything extra done to it like routings or finishes?

They are showcase items and the neck is getting frets and finish done by warmoth.

I might be wrong, but I think it said "in process" before it said "waiting to ship".

My neck was built from scratch and body was showcase with extras done and they took about 5 weeks. Think tha average is around 8 weeks give or take.

Im getting sick of waiting for the UPS guy on my body. it is supposed to be here today and the status says OUT FOR DELIVERY ......

Excuse me for my very bad English, but I would ask you:
If I order a showcase body and neck - N.B. body only to routing (pickup and tremolo), neck only to fret and routing nut (floyd rose) -, how long time I must wait before shipping?
For example: I order today and Warmoth ship ... ???
Thanks

p.s:
no finish, only fretting, nut and body routing.

I ordered a showcase neck and some parts. I asked the neck be finished and routed for an LSR nut. It gets here today. I placed the order about 4 weeks ago.

ok,
so if I order a neck not to be painted (preparation for Floyd) and a body already painted ... 2 weeks?
I'm Italian

With W, I've learned that it gets there when it gets there. If you're curious, call them and ask for order status. If you don't do it all the time they're super nice about it. I always seem to call about 3 days before I get the quantum view UPS email.  :toothy11:
