hey guys this is my first warmoth project

it will be a swamp ash/quilted maple strat with maple neck

my main goal is to make this guitar as versatile as i can ( from classic strat tone to high output sounds)

so im planning to put a hot rails in the bridge , a  lace sensor gold in the middle position , and a fender vintage noiseless in   the neck

somebody told me that i could get trouble with the lace sesnor gold cause of the difference in output with the hot rails

will i have wiring difficulties?

do you found these pickups a good combination?

thank u

I think you should buy my Doug Aldrich bridge V60 middle and V60LP neck pickup combination. You can shred peoples faces off and still dome some Stevie action too.

I have a vintage noiseless neck pup FS if your interested. You may have a volume drop when switching from the bridge to the middle, but if you lower the height of the bridge pup you may be able to control that.

I like your updated choice better, I am not a big fan of the Lace pickups, and frankly i'm not sure anyone here is a fan of them, I never see anyone talk about them here.

I may be wrong, we'll find out soon I'm sure...........

i decide to go hot rails bridge
area 58 middle
area 67 neck

no iincompatibility problems right?

the hot rails is great in the bridge but whenever i wanted to do something like you want to do to get versatility i always wind up favoring one pickup over the other and narrow myself to using one pickup, it may just be me but i find more versatility with a more balanced set. that's not saying that you will find the same, just putting my .02 in.

one big problem with strats is finding a bridge pickup that isn't over bearing in the highs. the hot rails is good if your like me and hate the bridge position but may be too much contrast with the area pups for my ears.

i have bought a DPDT  push push 500k pot (from warmoth)  , im planning to wire my strat with the " 7 tones strat wiring"

any other sugested mods from you guys???
