Just wanted to let you all know that today was a total Shazam-show at work.  Grateful to be working, however.  That is all.  As you were, gentlemen.  As you were.

Edit:  I'll just leave this little gem of wisdom here.  Every since I sold my soul and became a corporate goon, I've learned one thing about networking on LinkedIn: You're only 3 degrees separated from women wielding cleavage to gain work.  As usual, Space Avalanche illustrates it best:

The horror  :help:

I'm looking forward to being grateful to be back at the water cooler and whiteboards soon...one has to see the funny side of it.  :eek:ccasion14:

Lemme know if I can help you find something.

Thanks, Frank.  I've got a couple of irons in the fire so expect all will turn around soon:eek:ccasion14:

I did about 30 years of office work and, with the exception of what I did of it in higher ed, had a largely decent experience. Made some good friends, often was not the boss but a few times I was. But in December I walked away after six years at my last job and am not regretting it. Took a break and now looking for three days a week that preferably isn't anymore office work, just make the expenses, have a little more time. But I feel for ya Frank.  My formula was just doing good work and letting that speak for itself, an awareness of politics around me but no participation in it, and documenting the heck out of anything that came up.  :laughing7: Hang in there, for us adults its good to be working in this day and age brother.
