At the start of this year i bought a Saga Jazz kit which some of you may remember being hastily put together for a university project.
Well In july when i get home, i will be working on getting it finished, the headstock properly cut and the neck finished.
The colour i've decided to use will be this:
http://www.tonetechluthiersupplies.co.uk/Nitro-cellulose-Lacquers-and-Paint/Nitro-cellulose-Aerosol-Lacquer-and-Paint/204-Nitro-Cellulose-Tint-Wine-Red/flypage-ask.tpl.html
As the next warmoth will be heavily on the purple exotic woods body and neck side, just to tease you guys :evil4:
thought that this would be a nice colour to use.
Anyways onto the question, i am thinking of using the pickguard that came with this, as a experiment in doing a design along the bottom half to appease my Dragon/Gothic Side :evil4:
Would this paint be alright to also do the design sprayed onto the pickguard via a stencil, or would it easily rub/chip off after drying? I dont often use a pick, however i might at times, if thats a factor.
Any thoughts would be appreciated, if i go with a red colour on it i would like it to be as close to the body as possible, hence using the remainders of whats left after finishing the body was an idea i had.
If not i would likely go with black and use my warhammer paint spray can, as im sure that would be ok, it works on the plastic they use at least :dontknow:
