Update on "Whaddya think"

Getting close with this one. I have to solder all the wiring and bolt on the neck. Pups are Air zone bridge, Area 61 and Heavy blues 2 neck (Dimarzio). I have the Rothstien mod for the 2nd tone ..can't wait to hear what it sounds like. I have a pre cut Tusq nut... should I try to install it myself or just get a luthier to do the nut and final set up? As far as my set-up skill goes..well let's just say I have the skill to make ANY guitar buzz and stay OUT of tune.

Nice.  Good array of pickups.  What does the Rothstien pot do ?  What neck are you going to match up ?

I have a real nice USACustom cbs  neck.  dark rosewood with abalone dots. The Rothstein is the result of a weeks long search of mine to find something different for the 2nd tone which I realy did'nt want. I  gave a link to the diagram..If you go to their site it will give you a better description than I could  ...just search for Rothstein guitars and look under passive mods. I think it wil be really popular once it catches on. Easily goes on any strat too..two wires.

The Rothstien RG500D sounds very useable.  It is like EMG's SPC and RPC controls in one and it is also passive.  I like the center detent which puts the control to neutral.
