Woo! First post. Saw some nice guitars, figured I'd post mine and get some feedback. First up is my Black Strat, modeled after David Gilmours guitar, as he is one of my favorite musicians. Not really sure how to post images to forums, so I'll just post links  :icon_scratch:

Body is alder, black gloss paint, black .09" pickguard with three Fender Custom Shop 69 strat pups. Bridge is a Callaham Vintage S bridge, everything else is standard. Neck is one piece of maple, total vintage construction with a 7.25" radius, 59 roundback contour and Schaller locking tuners.

Second is a Les Paul, though I'm a strat guy and don't really play the LP too much. Shame on me.

The LP body is a single piece of mahogany, solid body construction with no chambering. Very heavy body. It's a carved top. The neck is unfinished Wenge, Standard Thin, with an Ebony fretboard sporting two "custom" inlays. Warmoth headstock shape, Sperzel locking tuners. Pickups are Dimarzio's. D Activator X in the neck, evolution in the bridge. Doesn't really fit my play style so I may offload the LP or change the pups. Color is Surf Green. Kind of a weird LP, but I like it.

Sorry for the picture quality. The iphone camera isn't that great for high resolution I guess? Anyways, hope you like them.

Wow! Both look really nice, way to make an entrance, welcome aboard  and looking forward to more posts from you

Thanks, guys. I saw there is a for sale section here, so I might post the LP up there since I never play it. I guess I'm not much of a humbucker guy anymore, I dunno. Nice to get positive reactions. That Surf Green is one of my favorite colors, maybe I'll do a Tele in it.

Nice guitars Tipperman  :icon_thumright:  Both of....

Shame on you indeed   for not playing that Gorgeous Looking LP. Really seems a shame to sell that.
But ... If your not using it, which I can surly relate to. (I just sold my Gibson DarkFire) after making a Warmoth guitar. 'The Cigar' Strat with GK-3 in it.

All thou I still have my ol'trusty 2008 LP Standard & I do play it !!
I would buy that green LP of your's  :icon_biggrin:  But i'm in the process of 2 Warmoth builds, which will make my stable 9 Guitars.

Next for me is a bigger 'Cupboard'

Updown  :blob7:

It's hard to hear of a board member wanting to sell a W guitar he built himself, but as the owner of 4 of them, and like 14 guitars total, I find myself constantly drawn back to one guitar, and it just happens to be my first W I built.

And of course I had 4 warmoth necks to choose from and swap back and forth, and put the nicest one on my fav color warmoth body, with my fav pups ( fender noiseless Cobalts) it's a great guitar.

So if you need the cash, yeh sell it, you might break even, you might lose money, that's the sad part.

I ended up trading it. Got a 1991 Fender American Deluxe Ash Strat! Locking tuners, roller nut, all that sexy goodness. Might change the neck for a Warmoth with a Rosewood or Pau Ferro fretboard. I haven't had one of those in years. Pretty awesome deal on my end - it's a great playing strat, damn near perfect condition too.  :icon_biggrin: Very pleased with it. All the upgrades I usually do to a strat were already on it!
