Twin Jazz Bass pickup in bridge position

I'd like to add an additional "more bridge" pickup to my standard jazz bass routing in bridge position. Or should I move such pickup to neck a little? Something like Fender Twin Jazz pickup. Any experience?

I like the sound of those slightly better than MM style pickups for some reason. Most are splittable as well, so you can still get "regular" jazz tone.

I did mine with the south coil in the '60s J position.
