Hi!

I wonder if Warmoth have the option to have the pickup routing tucked in as the picture shows.

Have strat sized pickups that doesn´t require the normal triangle model.

Thanks

Best to talk directly with the warmoth folks for that.  We'd just be speculating.

Warmoth offers the EMG Strat route, which are "oval," on guitars with rear control routs. You may want to have Warmoth confirm dimensions versus your PUs.

Yeah I was about to say the same.... EMG route offers a nice tidy cavity for rear routed guitars.

The EMG rout won't have a space under the top for the usual Strat triangular base, but some pickup companies can make their Strat pickups with a totally 'clean' base. Of course EMG pickups themselves, both active and passive, will fit right in as standard.

Sorry, nothing really constructive to add.  Just wanted to say that every time I see the title of this thread, it reminds me of the old San Dimas Charvel code for rear loaded singles (no pickguard)..  3 TITE (3 singles, tuck in the electronics).

My apologies for the intrusion...  Please carry on.  :headbanging:

That's a modern 3TITE model pictured in the OP. The pickups aren't rear-loaded though, at least on the modern ones.

Prince had lots of guitars with rear-mounted and under-laminate pickups, it was certainly quite A Thing in the late-80s for lots of brands and custom builders. There are loads of random bodies on eBay with hidden or rear mounting currently, though certainly of dubious quality.
