Truss rod question

I'm sure this will sound dumb to some of you, but this is my first build and I need some advice.  I just bought a Warmoth Pro neck.  I was under the impression that all truss rods were maintained using an allen wrench.  When I got my neck today there was a screw in the truss rod.  Is this normal?  Do I need to purchase a truss rod nut to install onto the truss rod?

Is it left handed?

If a righty, it should be on the treble side of the heel, unless it's an angled headstock.

Or....it may not be a Pro.

OP may be referring to the coarse heel adjust and not the fine adjust

Heel adjust rods typically (always?) use a slotted end.

That's what I've got on my Warmoth headstock neck.  I don't recall which socket it takes, as my sockets don't fit on whilst there are strings on it.
Metric, Imperial? Sorry it's been too long, but in my little kit I found the correct one last time. It's 5/16"
