trans white satin finish - any examples out there?

I have a far fetched plan to make an LP special / jr type of gtr at some point in some 'normal' color like white or trans amber on mahogany. Dual P90s, flat top, Badass wraparound, that type of thing. Collings and Heritage both make models I lust after. Has anyone seen a mary kay type finish but satin, possibly without grain fill, for this type of thing? Might try that, or a trans amber w/tru oil, or something.
