How about dry old Fender type tweed..I am thinking about wiping it down with fabric conditioner , as in a sort of wash/ condition, but more for the conditioning. I have scoured the internet and found nothing of the sort. Hey, heres a possible idea for a new product- 'tweed conditioner'!  :sign13: :confused4:

Probably my GF's mighty arsenal of expensive exotic herbal hair conditioners would work just as well..or not. Long as I use it sparingly and do not soak the fabric..just a little water anda little bit of conditioner?

Am I off my rocker?

EDIT- OK  folks..I did it. i was the gunea pig for this trial...I had this old piece of tweed luggage and I did the procedure I mentioned above using the ol' ball and chains Hemp hair conditioner..certainly doesn't look any worse for the wear..whether it did much of anything I don't know.

UPDATE- It turned out fantastic.. no discoloration or any issues...it might be the placebo effect, but i really think it somewhat rejuvenated the tweed! YMMV.

Tweed Conditioner!  With Hemp!  (for that mellow tone).

Someone could make a mint on this idea...

Hmmm... mints infused with hemp. Ought to mellow one out. Wouldn't matter what you played.
