The main color inspiration was the movie, "The Red Violin", wherein a renaissance luthier dyed his violin with his dead wife's blood. Not currently having a dead wife on hand, I made do with some LMII red, amber & brown dyes. There's still a lot of pissy little tweaking to do, before it gets to the gallery, with full specs.

THIS AIN'T YOUR GRANNY'S PEGHEAD:

That ain't your $49.95 official Stew-Mac neck support, either...

Q: How many Warmoth seven-strings with a NON-locking, NON-Floyd Rose whammy are there in the entire UNIVERSE?

A: ONE! AND IT"S MINE>>> BWA HA HA HA  :hello2:

P.S. It sort of looks like a brown guitar, until you see it with a brown guitar:

I already have trouble operating six strings with five fingers, let alone seven, so I'm not really a guitar man, but this thing arouses pure lust. And pure envy. Wow. That's just beautiful.

Wow-- that is beautiful.  So what did you use in place of DWB?  (Dead Wife's Blood, of course.)

I like the neck support, too.  Very much in keeping with the spirit of the craft.

or in other words.. how many cats did you have to kill to get to that color?

Great Guitar!!

Great color in the finish there, and cool inspiration. Sweet peghead, that the Warhead? Gotta be honest though, I find the one green bobbin on the bridge pup to be pretty distracting.

hehehehehehe very nice (except that the headstock looks badly with a part of males body that I would not like to be seen like touching  :laughing7:)

Uuurrrrrrgggghhhhhh.......Nonsense, You are disgusterating  :confused4:

I looks a bit like the old Ibanez Roadster series headstock

Cool guitar :hello2:

Reminds me a lot of the headstocks used by Xotic on their basses.  Although their headstocks weren't inline and could double as gardening implements.  But all of this reminds me-- can you get a paddle headstock for a Warmoth bass neck?  It isn't mentioned on the site.

yes

The body looks great with the black hardware, i just think that bridge pickup sucks.  And there is an old lady in this area that i've seen playing out with this ancient vox guitar with a headstock pretty similar to that, and i'd be willing to be shes a grandma.

Ah, good call.  I was looking for the paddle neck under the bass neck menu item, like it is under the guitar necks (from the main page, dropdown menu for Guitar/Necks/Warmoth Pro 25/Angled Paddle and so on.)  I thought I had seen bass necks in there!!  I just couldn't remember where!
