So I finished my first build recently, here http://tinyurl.com/oyvqmfb and have been playing the heck out of it! What I expected to be a "just good" guitar has completely shown up my expectations. That said, I find myself wanting more  :icon_scratch:

I'm definitely going to sand her down and give her a custom finish based on one I found that really inspired me, but I'm strongly considering adding a middle position mini-humbucker
I'm a native Firebird player (its been my main guitar for a long time), and really wish I could that mini-hum sound out of my new partscaster.

I'm looking for a way to wire it that would give me: neck only, neck and mini, mini only, neck and bridge, mini and bridge, and bridge only, probably using some combination of a super switch and extra toggle? Anybody know of a way to do this? I'm not opposed to drilling some holes, any advice would be appreciated

Standard 5-way Strat switching, plus a SPST switch across the neck and bridge pickups' hot leads.

Ooh, could you explain how you wire the SPST for that?

As I said, place it between the neck and bridge pickups' hot leads. When closed, the switch will shunt those pickups together to allow the 5 way switch to give the following scheme:

1. Neck and bridge.
2. Neck, middle and bridge.
3. Middle.
4. Neck, middle and bridge.
5. Neck and bridge.

Ah, thanks! I think I get it now. I'm pretty excited for this

A 5 way superswitch could do this with various possibilities without an extra switch.

Nope. A five position switch can't do six pickup combinations. And the extra switch affords a seventh option, as well.

Correct I didn't notice the sixth option.
