Being that I live in Minnesota - and that goes without sayin' I've been a Minnesota Vikings fan all my life no matter how
bad or how good they are (f-ing HATE fair-weather fans).

I for one would like to welcome the Return of the King, the greatest quarterback in the NFL...

Dammit! I put on my fat suit and Elvis costume in anticipation of what would lie within this thread, and it's about football?

i'm a diehard redskins fan (check my avatar) but i'm really excited to see Favre back. he's just an awesome player to watch! and one of the coolest guys in the NFL. he gets a lot of hate he doesn't deserve, but he couldn't care less. definitely one of the funniest guys in the league too :laughing7:

When did he announce this?

Oh, and I, too, am from The Land of Ice and Snow.  (It IS what Zep was talking about, right?)

Last year was a fluke. Brett will never match that performance. I love the guy though and I wish him luck. I'm glad my Broncos beat him. Too bad we can't seem to do anything now.

IDK, it may have been a fluke.  Except for not winning a Superbowl, last year was his best year to date.  I have no horse in this race, but BF is notorious for not doing what he supposed to do.  Even if it's not like last year, his bad years are better than most's good years.

I would love to see Brett ride off in the sunset with that Lombardi trophy much like the greatest quarterback ever.................Ladies and gentleman he's number 7 in your program and number 1 in your hearts

I see him riding an Alligator off into the sunset, with the Lombardi trophy (which he took as a memoir from the Vikings locker room), giving everyone a HUGE middle finger, especially the Packers.
