I was rooting around for something weird and came across a new (to me) nut & bolt source:

For you threaded insert fans, they do have the elusive 8-32 X 1.75" stainless Phillips oval heads, though not the even-more-elusive 10-24s or 10-32s... in 1.75".

And stainless "sheet metal" screws, the most common neck mounting apparatus, Phillips ovals in 1.125", 1.5", 1.75", 2.0"... 9c - 15c each!

They take Paypal, I haven't rooted deep enough to figure up shipping etc. but still, it's all RIGHT THERE.
