Well my Telecaster bridge plate came in but they sent the wrong one you might know I got it on ebay man this sucks now I have to re turn it and wait on a re fund then try and find another one to order. :icon_scratch:

There are basically two Tele base plates either with three or four mounting holes. You won't be the first who has been caught out by this.

Other than that some "bargain parts" may turn out to be otherwise.

If your not sure about parts that will fit ask on the forum usually someone will know if it's likely to be compatible.

The part they sent out is don't even show on there site and I can't find one that even come close to it anywhere online.I have no idea what this might fit.I have started the re turn but it will take about three weeks in all sucks too! :toothy11:

Selecting and finding parts can sometimes be rewarding and frustrating. But in the end it's all part of putting together one off guitars.

You are so right I went to the post office this morning and sent the wrong part back to them they should have it by the end of the week. And after that I should get my money back in 6 days well that's what ebay told me anyway. It's going to be a slow build but fun at the same time I think. :icon_biggrin:

The part went back and already got my money back Weeeeeeeeeeee! Now I have a new bridge plat on order this time around it's a fender Telecaster bridge replacment. And I have a few other part's on order as well. But I am still not sure if I will get the Thinline Telecaster body or just the reg Telecaster body either one will work and I am not totally sure if I want the Bigsby on it or not. This build is already getting to me just to many things to pick from one day I like this then the next I don't.I hope no one does this too.Seems like ever time I turn around something happens here and not for the good either. How many of us by from ebay I would like to know. :laughing7:

It's all part of the design process. I've two unfinished projects at the moment that I still need parts for and then the time to work on them. On top of that i always have different ideas for possible future builds. But once you start you have to make decisions as you go but till then there is always choice.

And yes I do buy stuff from E Bay, but only specific parts that I know what I want in advance, just the same as buying online from other sources really.
