Here's a general answer that hopefully covers all bases:
A stock tele bridge pickup will have a metal plate on the bottom fused to the pickup itself. This comes with the pickup. Not sure why it's there, probably Leo was thinking about shielding benefits. I guess he changed his mind when it came to the strat.
The stock tele bridge is itself a fairly large plate, with a hole for the stock tele pickup. There are also three small mounting holes that line up with, wait for it, holes in the pickup base plate. This attaches the pickup to the bridge using the supplied screws/springs. Once the pickup is attached, the whole thing is installed as a unit.
So if you get a stock tele pickup and a stock tele brige, they come with all the stock tele plates you require.
