Tele with SG control cavity

Well I've seen it done, but can't locate it in the builder's or anywhere.  :icon_scratch:

Is this a Ring in / Email option I presume  :dontknow:

I asked about a Gibby-style control cavity on a Strat once and was told it was DIY only, as in "order it without holes and drill 'em yerself." However, maybe Teles are a different story.  :dontknow:

The only Tele I see in the builder with that option is the "Custom" version, which is top-routed and so requires a pickguard for mounting everything. Then, it has limited pickup options. So, I'm guessing it's a telephone call, cross your fingers and get out your wallet kind of deal.

You should know, though, that every time a Tele gets routed for dual volume/tone controls, a puppy gets its tongue ripped out by the roots with a pair of vise grips. It's quite sad, really.

SG controls are an option on a rear routed Tele for +$45.  That is a rare option and is not included in the builder.  You can order online and include a comment to rout for the SG controls.  Warmoth will charge the extra $45 separately.  Alternately, you can call or email your order in.

LP controls on a Tele are a recent addition to the body builders.  This is also +$45.
