tele wiring

hey everyone, i cant find a wiring diagram for two single coil pickups with a toggle switch. any ideas? :help:

what kind of toggle switch?

using a standard gibson type toggle...

There are five connections.  Wire one pickup hot to one side, wire the other pickup hot to the other side.  The two center connections, these get wired together, and brought over to the volume control.  The last connection is a "frame ground", that can be omitted on a Fender metal plate, but not if wood mounted.

The grounds from the pickups go to the pot body on the volume control.  The wire from the switch and the tone control are standard tele arrangements

SInce you reference "Tele" in the posting, I'm assuming you mean a Fender style 3 way blade switch?

well its gonna have tele pickups, but a gibsonish toggle switch
