Tele Neck or Strat Neck?

i have an old Squier '51 that i'm looking to get a neck for, and i very recently ran into a Fender Nashville Deluxe Power Telecaster (such a wordy name...) and it's been mine now for about 4 hours  :icon_biggrin:  and i was thinking about swapping the new tele neck to the '51 (which has a Tele neck pocket) and getting a warmoth for the new Fender. mostly because it has 21 frets and i love 22 fret necks. that one fret i barely use drives me crazy, and it's a great excuse to go warmoth. ANYWAY i saw the perfect neck for me. a Tele neck with a tilt-back headstock!

dreams come true. but my problem... in the pictures it REALLY looks like it has a Strat neck-butt end on it.  ???  i want to call warmoth and see for sure, but of course it's a weekend. so does anybody already know? i can definitely see the appeal of a Tele headstock on a Strat, so i'm wondering if thats what it was meant for. just curious.

the first one looks like it may be, but both definitely have curved fingerboard edges. thats the part that makes me most skeptical. thanks for any help!

That's a strat heel. Here's a tele heel. But if you've got a pickguard on the tele, I doubt you would notice the difference.

You can use it.

i know, but i'm just not too comfortable with a strat heel on a tele body. i feel weird having that gap. i know it'll work fine though.

check them out! it says they're a "limited run." i wonder if i could call and see about a tilt-back with a tele heel. i'm sure it wouldn't be any problem.
