The body for build #2 arrived today. Unfortunately a recent holiday put a dent in my finances, so build #1 is yet to be completed.  The sun coming through the blinds lit up someof the fluff and makes it look pretty dirty, but I assure you the finish is immaculate despite my dodgy amateur photography.  The colouring is closest to that shown in the bottom pic.

DAMN!

I was on my way to doing a Blue Sparkle Jazzmaster and I was debating whether or not to do a trans blue instead.  I thought it woudl come out too light of a blue (looking at pictures in the paint section) but thats killer!  I might just end up with a trans blue jmaster too...  maybe..

I did have some concerns about that too, but I'm happy to say it's a nice deep shade of blue.
 
Here's a mock-up of how it will look.  I had to do some serious sanding on the rear P90 rout to get the pickup to fit (a fault with the pickup, not the rout).  I'll need a new pickguard cut to fit my switching, and to accommodate the oversized bridge.
