WOW, if that is really triple AAA flame, Warmoth is way too good to us  :icon_thumright:

I hope to god this will be blue. Blue would look AMAZING with that fretboard

I think it's AAA flame maple. Perhaps it's AAAAA maple. Maybe someone at Warmoth can chime in & let us know what it qualifies as.

The color will be a yellow with a tad of orange mixed into the color to make it warmer & fuzzier.

It looks to be higher than AAA. It could be AAAAA but would need to see it up close. It's always hard to tell from a picture.

Classy pieces of wood. Now ... put it together!  :toothy10:

It'll be 3-4 months before it's done. I'm going to contour the heel so it's like an Ibanez All Access Joint for a neck-thru feel. Shave the back & tummy contours waaaaay more for an even sleeker feel. Dye it, Dye it again since I will probably screw up the 1st time & then put it together.

How exactly are you going to do the countouring? Will you be using your own pattern for where the neck bolts go? Everything I've been told is the AANJ screw arrangement won't work with a Pro neck... so I'm very interested to see what you have planned.

I order the body with no neck holes, line up the body to the neck, make a small hole so I can see where they are & contour around that. This way it lines up perfectly afterward with no problems. I kinda wing it & contour as I go, as I don't have a template. All my heel contours look different, but they all line up & make playing way more comfortable.
