It's never been done.

Are you serious? Your broken engrish sure looks forced to me, are you some kinda poser?

Sorry for being hard on ya, but that doesn't even sound like a real question, you can find the answer to that by just being a real guitar player long enough to play mary had a little lamb.

the last post i saw of yours was telling us that people on other forums say warmoth necks need fret jobs.

So welcome to our forum, of course people put humbuckers in swamp ash bodies, and no ( they dont need dressing) the warmoth frets are amazing from the factory

Although you can certainly put a Gibson humbucker into a Strat body, if you are not using a Gibson-spaced bridge, the pole pieces will not line up with the string spacing. Most humbuckers that are installed in Strats are "F-spaced" or "Trembucker" spaced.

Additionally, many traditional Gibson humbuckers have long "legs", which may cause fitment issues that require bending or modifying the legs.

I would suggest a humbucker that is designed to be installed in a Strat or Fender-style guitar.

As for the "fret job" question; it is not unusual for one of more frets to be a little high or low by the time you receive your neck. This can of course be checked. A final fret leveling and dressing will solve this issue and make the playability the best it can be. In most cases, it shouldn't be necessary though.

i have two classic gibson humbackers and thinking to put than is warmoth strat they has nickel cover but they are same as i see like seymur duncan humbackers only thing is gibson pups are best.if they not fit pickguard i ll cut corners and can i somehow put them in?in band we have american strat ibanez rg350 ibanez js les paul and i want to try warmoth swamp ash as i know swamp ash gives tone like ringing bell  :headbang:

In 30 years of business Warmoth has been pure and never allowed a Gibson PUP in a Strat Body, They have a PUP police department that goes around and checks builds just to make sure. :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

Don't forget the Fender police who surf these boards looking for people who put the mighty F on their warmoth headstocks.

it is important to know, as has been mentioned before, that Gibson brand Humbuckers are sized for the Gibson string spacing, which is different than the distance from E to E on a Fender. There are Fender spaced humbuckers, though. it is not just the route size. the screws on your Gibson Humbucker will not line up with the strings on a strat. Hope this helps.

ok.i know that gibson les paul has nut width 11.16 as strat neck i need.and nickel caver ll help in work humbacker..in 2011 fender released into production strat with two humbackers when i look at this guitar i take this idea to make this..i know russian italian and english with my national language some idiots find real thing to lough at.. :guitarplayer2:

don't worry about the language thing, there are many on the forum for whom English is not a first language. We're patient, we'll help you out.

Warmoth sells Strat necks in both 1 11/16 and in other widths also.

But the nut is on the other end of the guitar from the Pickups. It will not help the Humbuckers to work. What you want to check is string spacing at the bridge (similar to nut width but at the other end).

now i understand what going on thanks...ok i ll sell my not unboxing gibson bustbucker 3 and classic 57 but witch seymur duncan humbackers buy close by tone to gibsons?if u have experience share  :headbang:

You can use the Gibson humbucker in the neck-position (if the legs are not too long) and the string spacing will be fine, but for the bridge, you're really going to need a Fender-spaced humbucker for good alignment under the strings.

I'd personally like to know what a "humbacker" is...In 30 yrs of playing guitar, I've never seen one.... :icon_scratch:

okay, now . . . lettuce go easy on spleling. English can be a mother-dog's son to get right for someone who has it as a second language.  :occasion14:

Floyd Rose spacing is the same as Fender. The strings are spaced further apart. I have heard that the string spacing on a Wilkinson bridge is adjustable.
You might consider that...

FYI, it looks like the OP is from Georgia (the country, not the state.)  English being his second or third language is entirely probable.
