Strat rear routed bodies

Has anybody used a rear routed Strat body and fitted a normal pickguard to the body?  Are there any issues I should be aware of..Thanks

If you have a search you may find some other threads where this has been previously discussed. I do remember seeing the odd one.

But in brief things to think about would be,

Alignment of holes in the pick-guard matching those in the body.

Length of pot shafts, will they go through both if the pick-guard covers that area.

5 way switch doesn't have enough clearance in the extreme positions due to going through a body and a pickguard, assuming they even line up.
