I reacted to this. Gorgeous guitar overall, but what really got me was the straight "bottom" on the neck.

It looks more like a Charvel than regular Strat... And it's not "tele"-like, because it has sharp ends.

I know necks like Arcade comes with that (I have had one, when they were called Jackson) but are these also possible to get like that? Because that would be so cool... :toothy11:

That's a 24 3/4'' scale conversion neck (Gibson scale length). Changes the string tension slightly.

yup.  i bet that plays sweet.  25.5 would give you rounded edges.

Ok... I guess I cannot have it then, I only play 25.5  :icon_biggrin:

You might want to call and ask, as there are many neck designs that warmoth does with the square corners and 25.5 scale length. I think most all of the tilt-back headstocks are that way. I'm sure there would be an upcharge, but I bet it could be done.

yep...never hurts to ask.

24 frets also get you the squared off look.

Hmmm... I think I just wanna have a 22 fretter for this one...

Actually, honestly, I think I can live with a rouded edge. Haha. It's not like it's bothering me on my other guitars...  :icon_biggrin:

Sometimes playing a shorter scale is quite fun. it brings things a bit closer together. If you even enjoyed playing a LP or just about anyGibson, you can hang with a 24 3/4... :headbanging:

Since you brought up tele, I gotta ask. Even if you not confused, someone else may be later.

Are you talking about fingerboard overhang, or heel shape. The neck in that pic I believe is a strat neck with overhang. Tele necks are straight heel with radiused corners, and may have overhanging fingerboards as well.
