Straps made with Wood

Anyone seen these https://revoguitarstraps.com?  I just received the Mahogany Solano strap that I ordered, and it is very comfortable.

Maybe Warmoth could doing something similar with scap wood that they have available.

I own 3 of them (they are somewhat local to me).
Trust me, they are VERY comfy. 
Even more so with heavier instruments.
My fav profile of theirs is the Gordo.
It’s my dedicated strap for my 79 LP.

When I put it on Fender EJ slimline Strat and played it w/o an amp, I noticed I could feel the guitar more compared to the Fender Deluxe Tweed strap I was using.

I just ordered my second one and it was a Gordo.  Looking forward to trying that one out too.

they look like those things taxi drivers put over their seats. the like, wood bead seat covers. if those're good enough for the whole rear of their body (the back and the butt) then those straps should be good enough for a shoulder, i guess
