Strange customer request for Strat Wiring.

HSH setup on a V+T config.
Customer routed middle "S" himself, drilled out for a standard LP style 3 way.

He wants wired as follows:

\ = Neck pickup
I = Neck + Middle Pickup.
/ = Bridge pickup

I'm not sure that this middle position is possible, anyone want to chime in?

I think that's what the 3 way on a 3 pickup Gibson does as standard - they have extra contacts.

The 4-pole switch (like on the Music Man Petrucci sig models) can do any configuration you can dream up.  No pun intended.

Freeway switch.  The form factor is the same. Externally no difference.  freeway responds to email and will send plans not listed on website.  If you don’t see exactly what you want it’s worth an ask.

Where do you wire the middle pickup?
Do you have a diagram?
This is the first request I've had like this.

You may be better off using one of the suggestions above as they would give more options and may be easier (or even just possible) to fit if it's not actually an LP as the only original style switches I've seen are the long type like this one.

An EP-0065-3PU switch would give you those combinations.

Grabbed one of these on Reverb.

Got the ground figured out, but the diagram in the link is a bit vague.
Still trying figure out where the positive from the switch ones, and the hots freak each pickup.

Can this be done with Dimarzio switch EP1111?

Sorry to piggyback, but is this exact switching configuration possible on a 3-way lever?

Not on a standard one. See the link in the post I made above.

I think you may be referring to a Tele style blade switch, but I am not sure of that either. I ended up getting the Dimarzio EP-1111 switch which is stock on the EBMM JP signature guitars.

The customer is quite happy with the results.

I am referring to a Tele switch, yes. Sorry for not being clearer.

I think it should be possible but I have a hard time wrapping my head around switches like that.

On a Tele switch this wiring should be possible. Obviously not wired as a standard Tele would be.
