Been working on this; only an example. First one I did in the past, I used the SR&D Rockmodules exclusively.
Changed things to the ADA MP-1 S.S. clean channel "straight in to the board" (no speaker/iRs); the ADA MP-1 S.S. clean is one of the best all-time IMO.
Quad tracked the cleans with 3x SC strat; one pair sorta acoustic sounding (5 pickup switch position), another pair super sparkly with micropitch (4 pickup switch position).
Clean solos are 3x SC strat on neck pickup switch position, then bridge later.
Add ethereal reverb and delay to taste.
Used Softube Marshall Plexi + Charvel So Cal w SD JBJ for distorted lines just for placeholder, doubled.
