Maybe. But I think Warmoth has had so many problems with Gibson that they wouldn't want to deal with them over Steinberger.
Be neat if they did though.
I believe a member here cut off a headstock and mounted headless hardware. If you do that, you can pick up a body blank make yourself a broomstick. You would be limited in wood options, and need to do your own finish work, but you still have the option if you really want it.
You guys are right. Gibson isn't going to lose money though. The average guitar player doesn't have the patience to deal with building a guitar and besides they aren't even making a quality steinberger right now. The spirit version looks better. I just want the option of an ebony fretboard and not so many pickups with 24frets. The real deal steinberger has 22 frets and no trem right now :sad1: I'm going to probably order the spirit model anyway.
Of course not. But, they're owned by Gibson, which is an extremely litigious company. Do anything even slightly similar to something they do, and their lawyers will be on you like a dog on a meat wagon.
I give my dog cereal...and milk! He can't enough of the stuff!
Oh and Steinberger? Is that some kind of sandwich?
No sir, unless they start making them with cheese I'll stick with my Carvin M1A1H2 thank you kindly. :cool01:
