Abstract: build and finish a strat body. I read what Warmoth said (4-6weeks)

However I would ask you (you that have had direct experience, of course):
how many time has elapsed between order date and the exact date of Warmoth delivery?
Thank you

p.s.:
Forgive me if this question is repetitive for you

I've made two orders from Warmoth. One was a showcase body and the other was a body and neck custom ordered to my specs.

The showcase was about 8-10 day wait.

Custom order was quoted 6-8 weeks-- it arrived in 6 weeks

They tend to beat or match their estimate on custom orders, from my experience and what I've noticed others saying around here.

Ya know the more ya order from Warmoth, the better they get with the lead time.  Heck, bout now, whenever I call to place an order, they just just tell me all the stuff I wanted has already shipped to me two days before I even ordered it!  And then they thank me for the business!

It's the stuff that needs finishes that eat time. You have to wait for the finish to cure properly before you can finalize it, and there's just no easy way to speed that up. Ask Tonar. I'll bet he can't deliver finished bodies any faster than they can, and he's generally starting with pre-machined bodies instead of blanks.

When I ordered my Warmoth body, they told me four weeks, and I received it in three. I was quite pleased.

Perfect, that's just what I wanted to hear  :laughing7:

Excuse me, I express myself badly or I can't make myself understood.
The time given by Warmoth are great in my opinion.
I ask about time because I've read that many friends have ordered and received in advance.
This makes me happy.
So no criticism, I just want to know how many people have received in advance.
Everything here

Times can be all over the place, depending on what you want and what work needs to be done. Even for parts and already finished items I notice it takes them a couple days to get things out the door. Of the custom jobs I've had done it was pretty much in line with the estimates. Not a perfect science enough to really plan for things, I had a custom built neck with finish take 6-7 weeks, having a deluxe body cut from a 1pc (no paint) took a few weeks, and painting a Showcase LP neck took about 3.5 weeks.

Hi Guys....

Our official lead times are as follows:

Neck or body build (without finish) 4 - 6 weeks

Neck or body build (With finish) 10 - 12 weeks

This information can be found in the terms and conditions page on our website: http://www.warmoth.com/Ordering/TermsAndConditions.aspx

Sometimes orders can get through quicker (or longer) depending on the complexity of the order and finish options. These are our general lead times and should be planned around  accordingly.

Any questions or concerns please send them to sales@warmoth.com

Thanks again for all of your support!
