I thought these were so cool when I first saw them, and I still do! There were only a few left when I grabbed this one. I was happy to get a fairly plain looking top instead of the more in your face colored ones (although I dig those, too!). Anyway, these are the specs ...

Roasted swamp ash body with acrylic infused spalted maple top. Contoured heel. Recessed Original Floyd Rose bridge rout. Volume and tone controls.

Modern construction rosewood on roasted flame maple neck (unfinished). Jumbo stainless frets. 1-11/16" nut, standard thin profile, 10-16 radius.

Schaller locking tuners (I know, I know ... you don't need them with a locking nut. I just like the ease of use).

Original Floyd Rose bridge with R4 nut. Original Fat Brass block and noiseless springs.

Lollar dB Humbucker, 1 Meg pots, and .022 cap.

Custom aluminum control knobs designed and machined by me.

10-46 D'Addario NYXL strings (a little stiff, I have 9.5-44s waiting for the first string change).

Gotoh brass saddle shims to get very close to an 18" radius at the bridge.

This was my first time setting up a locking trem from scratch, and probably my last😆! I just had to have one, though. It was a fun project. I have things pretty dialed in at this point. I'll probably need to do a little fine tuning after changing string gauges. Overall, I'm very happy with how it turned out.

Very sexy!

I was eyeing those when they came out and I would've done a similar configuration, if I had bought one. Single HB and Floyd rules!

Schaller locking tuners (I know, I know ... you don't need them with a locking nut. I just like the ease of use).
I so understand that, I put locking tuners on my 7/8 with the Lockmeister trem and I will put locking tuners on my upcoming build with the Schaller Floyd: It just makes restringing so much easier!
