The time hour l has come for me to start saving for FRFR's for my Helix.
I will be running my guitar, and bass through it. I play 7 string guitars and 5 string basses sometimes, tuned to drop A.
I've narrowed it down to either a pair of Line 6 L3M's, or a pair of Atomic CLR Cabs. I'm leaning towards the line 6 ones, because it's tri-amped, and theres a low driver, a high and mid driver, and the tweeter (if I remember right) so it will handle the bass frequencies better, I think.
But the Atomics look more backline style, so that's a plus, but I don't mind that the L3M's don't look like a guitar cab.
The other thing with the Line 6 speakers, is I can connect them via L6 Link, which is basically a digital Aes/EBU cable, that is proprietary to Line 6, and they are more powerful (i play metal... Loud... Loud drummers...)
Plus, I can use them as PA speakers for the whole band, If I need to.
What is your opinion? Should I also look at the Matrix or Mission offerings?
