Hi guys,
Just pulled the trigger on a CBS Warmoth Pro Maple/Maple neck.
Headstock CBS Stratocaster®
Construction Warmoth Pro
Orientation Right Handed
Shaft Wood Maple
Fingerboard Wood Maple
Nut Width 1 11/16"
Back Contour Standard thin
Fretwire SS6230 (Stainless)
Tuner ream Vintage Style (11/32")
Fret Number 22
Radius 10-16" Compound
Inlays Black Face Dots
Nut Install R4 Flyd Prep,Shlf Only
Neck Finish Vintage Tint Gloss
Scale 25-1/2 in.
She'll be mated to a one piece swamp ash strat body routed for recessed floyd, SSS configuration with Kinman Woodstock Plus Pups on an a Black PG.
The body was filled with a dark filler to bring out the grain, sanded back then several coats of thinned tung oil applied, smoothed with a wet sand. I did the body about 12 months ago over a 2 - 3 month period and since then she's really yellowed up, I think it looks great and I can't wait to finish this project.
I would provide pictures of the body but the damn cat decided the camera needed to be soaked in cats p*ss so I've lost the photos on the memory card and the camera is well and truly out of action. Even if it did work I wouldn't use it as it stinks real bad.
I'll have a look through my files when I get home to see if I can find any of the body as I know it doesn't exist until pictures are uploaded for all to see :glasses9:
Oh The floyd rose is chrome, I already have that too.
