Well just found this on ebay from portugal,

The body of what looks like comparing pictures and is stated as a music man sabre 1979.
With everything missing i could attempt finding parts for it for many a year till i finally had it back to its former glory/ hellish nature  :evil4:
What were sabres like if any of you have played them?
Depending on the price im tempted anyways
 
Upon closer inspection he has everything up for sale except the neck...... sooo tempted restrain me! :sad1:
just like the name :P
 
I have found that right now there are a lot of guys giving up on ideas and selling out.
It is the economy I think, a lot of guys have held on too long and are hurting, I have bought a few things in the last year for dirt cheap

I would go for it. Music man has always make quality guitars.

On that note this has piqued my interest, anyone know anythin much about them? I understand they were cheap back in the day but I like it's weird look.

Well ive looked at the specs of these things and i have to say i am impressed, plus ive wanted a music man,
I bet the thing thatll cost me is hunting down a neck for it, but thats not bad considering how much the body n that will be,
Think i will go for it, time to keep an eye on it on the last day hehe
 
Sorry false alarm, the neck is for a sting ray or least has the sting ray vinyl on it, but found somewhere else selling a 1979 sabre neck, possibly with the electrics and the bridge aswell.
Do you think any of this is a scam?  :dontknow:
Would need to track down the tuners then.
And see what colours the sabre came in as to how i get it refinished due to its apparant condition. possibly, or i keep it as is.
