I've got an SGD 2-Band Preamp made by SGD Lutherie - http://www.sgdlutherie.com/pages/electronics.html
in my '76 Music Man Stingray and the Stingray pup is supposedly 1,200 (1.2k I presume?) ohms.

I've also got a spare Alembic strat pickup from an STR/AE-1 system that is 3.4k
and the STR/AE-1 is generally the same structure as the SGD 2-Band Preamp
that is ... having a volume and 2 active, cut / boost, tone controls, treble and bass
that are supposedly flat(ish) when they're in the center.
How do you think the SGD 2-Band Preamp would work with the Alembic pickup?
I'm considering getting an other SGD 2-Band Preamp, not gutting my bass.
