Seal Neck Pocket / Tremolo pocket?

Should I seal the neck pocket on the body, as well as where they routed the tremolo? I thought it would help keep moisture out on humid days.

No reason why not.

Fender never did it, but then again they never did a bunch of things that are good ideas (like shield the electronics).

For the neck, so long as it doesn't affect the necks fit, height or angle I don't see an issue.  Tremolo, why not.

As Mayfly said it can be a good idea.

Wait, wait.
There's nothing wrong with sealing the trem cavity, but I'm against sealing the neck pocket on the body or the corresponding face on the neck.
This kind of thinking might be out of date, but my feeling is that if you can have uninhibited wood-to-wood contact (snigger all you want, it had to be said), than the transfer of vibrations, and therefore sustain, will be better. To me, one or two coats of sealer, while not that much, could only take away from the "good vibrations". Whether or not you agree with this, I used this on my Blackbird, and that thing sings forever!
Cheers

Makes sense. I have sealed the trem cutout but left the neck pocket raw.
Thanks.
