I saw them at soundwave. Pretty darn awesome, although sometimes I can't get past the 'you all know i'm better then you' feel that josh seems to radiate.

I wish philly's show didn't sell out so fast, I was trying to go for thursday but didn't have enough money to get the tickets when they still had them.

look on craigslist, or put an ad up on there, for tickets. something may pop up. I was able to get a friend a tickets 2 hours before the show from another person.

I bought their first LP when it came out. Good, different than Kyuss, but I was expecting more. I think their next albums sound more mainstream, maybe I'm wrong... :dontknow: Next week Kyuss (original members minus Josh) are playing here. My excuse for not going is that Homme's guitar sound defined the Kyuss sound so why bother?

Kyuss were/are awesome.  I saw them at a generator party in the middle of nowhere many, many years ago.  Kyuss >>>> QotSA, especially since they don't have the bass players from the Dwarfs anymore.

^that's pretty damn awesome. and are you talking about Nick Oliveri? Josh kicked him out cause he found out Nick used to beat his ex-gf. Michael Shuman is pretty damn awesome, imo. honestly, I prefer his tone to Nick's. the tone he has last night was just unbelievable. you can actually hear it really well in videos from the gig.
