Satin Black Jazzmaster Body

Not much to show here, but thought I'd share a two quick pics to show the black satin finish. More pics to come in the build thread.

My first impression of the satin finish is, it looks very nice. My second impression of the satin finish was, it feels very nice. There's almost an eggshell type feeling to it. The finish is ultra smooth but does seem to have some minor texture not found on typical poly/nitro bodies. In my mind it kind of feels like a hard candy (think M&Ms) shell, and I hope it doesn't chip installing hardware. My last impression was fingerprints are significantly reduced, but not fully eliminated, and black still picks up dust. All good things, but don't get satin black expecting zero fingerprints etc. 

Anyway, not much to see here.

Jazzmaster body and satin finish, a win combination for me <3

I didn't expect fingerprints to disappear when I got mine. I was fine with the look and the feel, which lived up to my expectations.

The color on the V I'm still working on has taken the hardware nicely. The only chips and dents and scratches are all my own ham-fisted fault.
