Routing a humbucker space over a single coil space.

I bought a Warmoth body cheap but it's routed for three single coils, no pickguard, rear routed. It hasn't gotten here yet so I haven't had a chance to fart around with it. My question is will it be possible to route the bridge pickup space into a humbucker sized space? It's already routed for a fender styled PU.

No problem at all.  Many people have done this with varying levels of 'neat and tidyness'.  Do you intend to put a pickguard on the body?

Why not call W and ask if they can do it for you (assuming you bought it from the W showcase)?  May be a small upcharge??

Alternatively, get brave with a router/dremel when it arrives.
