Rosewood necks

I have a Indian Rosewood neck with a Katalox fretboard on a Sapele body.
Sapele is a First Cousin of Mahogany. Everyone loves it !!
Very clear separation in all of the notes. The wife liked the guitar so much
that she claimed it as hers.
It has a custom asymmetrical neck .92 on the thumb side and .86 on finger side.
The radius is 7.25 that compounds to 9.5. The nut is 42 mm or 1.65 inch
I used the 6105 Gold fretwire not only for the looks, but they are hypoallergenic.
I had the guitar plekd so its is as good as it is going to get.
The nut is Mother of Pearl that I dyed blue. I should have used Bone but the bone
doesn't or didn't dye well for me and looks are equally important.
I also installed a Titanium truss rod.
It is a reverse pointy Jacksonish headstock. I mixed the old ideas with the new style.

Yep, rosewood neck with bloodwood fretboard.  Mahogany vip body, quilt maple top, tequila sunrise finish ...  it’s real pretty.  I’m still in the process of getting to know her.  I found that the rosewood emphasizes the fundamental, even more than maple, so it sounds bright, but the low overtones, are also notable.  Mids not so much.  Though it could be be just my particular neck and pups.  Give me another month or two and a string change or two and some other amps  before I give the final call.  Plus I’m still exploring a new Mayfly delay pedal.  Man, I’m playing more now, but I’m already thinking about my next build.
